Starting December 7, 2022, McDonald's has begun selling a limited-time menu item, "Beef Stew Pie".
This year, the popular wintertime meal pie is back again.
The beef stew is made by slowly simmering beef, potatoes, carrots, and other vegetables to bring out their flavor, and adding richness and depth with fond de veau, and wrapped in a crispy pie.
We head to the store to take out a "Beef Stew Pie (200 yen)" for an actual eating investigation.
The special box has a cutout for easy one-handed eating.
My impression of the pie is that the crispy pie crust and warm, melt-in-your-mouth beef stew are addictively delicious.
The rich flavor of beef stew with beef and the savory fried pie crust combine to create a rich, rich taste.
